Wear it Two Ways: Straw Hats

Summertime hats are nothing new, but they've really picked up steam this summer. We're seeing straw hats EVERYWHERE. From large, floppy straw hats to structured straw boater hats, you really can't go wrong with this hot accessory. They work equally well for beach days, festivals, or sitting at a winery. Of course they're stylish, but they also help shade you from the sun, so you're really getting a two-for one deal here. To give you a taste of how versatile they are, see how we've each styled our straw hats below!

MOLLY

I've added a few straw hats to my wardrobe this summer, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be this structured straw boater hat. I bought it to go on a trip to France, and I felt like it had all the Madeline vibes.

The black band around the hat gives it a very classic vibe, so I thought what would be more classic to pair it with than a little black dress? This LBD is a fun variation though, with puffy '80s-esque sleeves, a large bow detail and a cutout on the front. The best part? It's currently on sale for TWELVE DOLLARS!

And, if you're not feeling Madeline vibes, you could totally go for your Mary Tyler Moore moment instead!

I love a wide brim straw hat in the summer, and it's even better if it has a fun detail! So, when I saw this hat with colorful pom poms and cord, I knew I had to have it. I am embracing all the colors this summer, so anytime I can add a pop of color to my outfit, I jump on the chance.

I continued the color play into the rest of my outfit with this colorful, tropical print wrap dress. I even kept the pom pom theme going with the tassels on my bag! Did I mention I love pom poms? Bit obsessed over here.

How are you wearing your favorite straw hats this summer?
