Overall Dress for KC Fashion Week

If you follow us on Instagram, you probably know that I spent last week going to events for Kansas City Fashion Week, and heads up that posts about it are about to start hitting the blog in rapid-fire succession! This overall dress look is what I wore to the first event at Kindred Collective Boutique at Oak Park Mall. At the media event, I got to talk to other amazing bloggers and peruse all of the cool stuff at Kindred. I already can't wait to go back! I may have snagged something from shopping there that I can't wait to style on the blog.

On top of the amazing stuff for sale in the store, there's also got a unique aspect that bumps up the cool factor of Kindred: a wall dedicated to taking photos, shown above. There's a changing quote on the wall and lights set up to get that perfect insta-shot. What better way to see if you want to take an outfit home than seeing how you look in it in perfect lighting? Speaking of dressing rooms, check out the dressing room setup below, how gorg is that setup?!

As for my outfit, I'm still loving the pastel pink and pastel blue color combo I couldn't get enough of last spring. I've been eyeing overall dresses and hit the jackpot with this light wash version from H&M. As you know polka dots are one of our favorite spring trends, and I thought this pink dot top felt really fun and fresh.

Since there's still a good chill in the air, I thought white booties and a white beret would be great items to give the ensemble a transitional look while keep my feet and head nice and warm.

This was a great way to kick off fashion week and I'm excited to share the rest with you soon!
