Circus Mod

Last weekend Victoria Beckham's collection hit Target, and I was especially excited to check it out because it was circus and storybook inspired. Adorable scallops, animals and insects donned items for women, kids, and infants alike.

After trying on a few other dresses from the collection, many of which weren't very structured, I tried on this orange scalloped number and loved it the fitted portion at the top. Also, you know I'm never one to turn down a mockneck neckline, and this one has scallops! I've never thought of orange as being a color that goes well with my super pale skin, but it's a rich enough color it works, and is a super fun change for me.

The dropped waist and scalloped detail screamed mod, so I went with it! Dressing as, well, a Mod Circus. I knew white booties would be perfect for a '60s go-go look. Round sunnies added to the vintage flair as well.

As we brought up not long ago here, we're loving fishnets for Spring, and I thought this would be a fun way to tie them in. I styled nude fishnets with the dress for a some character that's not too much of a statement. A graphic floral purse was the perfect finishing touch for my perfectly mod look.

What do you think of the collection? Have you snagged anything from it yet?
