Norwegian Wood

With slightly cooler temperatures that still aren't exactly screaming "fall!" yet, enter my favorite transitional combo: gladiator sandals and a dress with sleeves. It gets one last use out of fun statement-making gladiators when it's not quiiite boot season yet, but still doesn't look like you're dressing for the dog days of summer.

I'm so in love with this embroidered tunic dress I got from H&M this spring. It's such a fun combination of structured shirtdress, Nordic patterns, and breezy boho. Unfortunately, it's no longer in stock, but, don't worry, I've linked some other similar options below. Also, Nordic embroidery seems to be everywhere this season, so I doubt you'll have any trouble finding a style you love.

This fun look that's perfect for relaxing outdoors called for some simple milkmaid braids to tie together the whole theme. Bright orange nails (these puppies are NEON!) were a fun way to modernize the look. Due to my super fair skin, I never really sport neon colors, but what a fun way to incorporate them in a small dose! Pearly coral lips are a bright and fresh finishing touch for a dewy daytime look.

And, any style you can name after a Beatles song automatically has a seal of approval, right? Don't mind me, I'll just be singing that tune in the woods I'm pretending are in Norway.

Outfit Details: Dress: H&M (similar herehere, and here), Sandals: GoJane, Nail Color: Aurora Cosmetics
