Every once in awhile, we like to round up what we've been posting on our Instagram account to show you here. If you aren't following us on Instagram, be sure to follow us as we post multiple times a day and a lot of it is stuff you won't see here on the blog. We've also linked to the clothing below for your convenience. Happy browsing!
This was a fun flatlay for Cinco de Mayo! We sure do love themes at Mod Circus. It's also true for every day of the year at Chipotle and Jimmy John's alike (yes, get avo spread in place of mayonnaise on your sandwich, you will thank me, I swear).
Vertical stripes are one of our favorite trends this spring! They're long, and lean and make a bold statement. I love this lightweight vertical striped top with puffed out sleeves. I paired it with fun cropped flares and lace up flats. Fox head earrings add a fun whimsical touch.
This was a shot of a fancy homemade meal of baby kale salad, garlic cheddar biscuits, steak with musrooms, scallops, twice baked potatoes, corn and bacon relish, salted caramel ice cream, and dark chocolate brownies. You obviously have to document your food when you've spent basically all day making it.
I'm loving overalls for a casual Friday (or casual Monday) look! Pair them with shoes with a heel and a form fitting patterned top (stripes are a great look) for a chic look that's super comfy.

Bunny flats are a fun and whimsical way to spice up an outfit. I love the velvet material, and I had to showcase them on this doormat I love from Target.
Another of our favorite trends this spring is hyper romantic. This look is all about pink and bows, but in an understated way. Blush pink can help take a look down a notch and black is so classic. Don't get us wrong, we'd love an amped up version of this too!
Sometimes I get creative with treating dresses or rompers as shirts when I can't find the right shirt for the occasion. Midi skirts are perfect for this, because they have a lot of volume and length, so dress lines won't show through or peek below the skirt.

Occasionally you (or I, anyway) need to go full-out vintage. This poncho sweater was passed down from a family friend, and is straight out of the '70s. I got this necklace from her as well, which really amped up the vintage vibe. So groovy!
On cooler days in the spring, a blazer is a great way to keep warm while looking professional. It can even be paired with dreamy colors and patterns, but still make you look sharp for the workplace.
You know I love a good Peter Pan collar, but this one is a fun twist, because it's printed on. 2-D effects on 3-D objects is really in right now in art, and this top, complete with faux pocket and button lines is a playful way to wear a little art.

A throwback to our wonderful tea at The Allis Chicago! We had such a great girls day exploring the city and checking out the Van Gogh exhibit at The Art Institute of Chicago, as well as the Dressing Downton exhibit at The Driehaus Museum.
I love matching my lips to my shirt...to my bag! This amazing long lasting lip color from LipSense is seriously a must-have in your beauty case. It literally lasts all day until you take it off! Amazing.
Sometimes, a simple color combo is all you need. I love this bright blue scalloped shirt. It perfectly matches a pair of blue loafers I already owned.
Navy blue is definitely the new black in my book. I especially love it in the summer time.
You might have noticed that we really love gingham around these parts. I love this dress from Eliza J. It's perfect for spring and summer.
This white tank is quickly becoming one of my favorite tops. It's classic, yet has a little flare in the bunching detail on the front.
A classic midi skirt and peter pan collared shirt never goes out of style.
Shirt: The Limited, Skirt: Lulu's, Shoes: Target
This dress is a favorite of mine and it's back in stock at Modcloth! The pineapple print is perfect for any summer bbq or picnic you have coming up.
We're really into the hyper romantic trend right now and floral patterns are a huge part of that. This dress is a great 70's style with the balloon sleeves too!
Dress: ASOS, Wedges: Seychelles, Necklace: Charming Charlie
Who says you can't dress up a t-shirt? This Marvel comics tee looks just as cool paired with a blazer and bell bottom flares as it does on its own. I wore this to go see the new Captain America movie last weekend!
Did I mention that I have a thing for gingham? I do, it's true. This violet color is so pretty in person too!
