Molly's St. Patrick's Day Style

We don't even need to tell you at this point that we will take any opportunity we can to style themed outfits. With St. Patrick's Day coming up, this is obvs a no-brainer. This holiday is especially near and dear to our hearts because Jodi and I both do Highland dance at a Celtic dance studio, so we're getting geared up for parades and all sorts of performances this weekend. (Shh, don't tell anybody it's Scottish and not Irish dance, they don't know.)
In case you've somehow missed my porcelain pale skin, well, I have my Irish ancestors to thank for that. So, I'll be sure to toast up some nice whiskey for them over the next week. Unfortunately, I didn't get the hair color from some of them that had beautiful auburn hair, but enough people think my red hair is natural, so I'll count that as a success. Again, our little secret.
For my St. Patrick's Day look, I decided to go super duper green and springy with this fun polka dot number. No pinches for me in this frock!
I went for an understated pinup-esque look with a soft wave in my hair and a bright red lip. A sparkly gold belt was the perfect accent. I finished the theme off with a pretty delicate shamrock necklace that I got as a bridesmaid gift from Jodi when I was in her wedding.
Whether or not you have a personal connection to the holiday, or just like green beer, I hope you have a wonderful and safe St. Patrick's Day! Be sure to follow us on Instagram to see all of the fun green ensembles we're sure to be wearing over the next week.
Outfit Details: Dress: Modcloth (similar here and here), Shoes: Payless, Belt: The Limited
