Winter to Spring Kimono

 photo IMG_8170_zpsoycrdbpb.jpg

I'm obsessed with kimonos at the moment. If I could get away with wearing one every day of the week I would. Long, short, floral, embroidered, fringe, you name it, I want it in my closet. I particularly love the stark contrast of blue and cream in this one from Modcloth. I wore it on one of the first warm(ish) days of this year as a celebration of the sunny days to come. It paired well with these Seychelles wedges and bag from Sole Society.

I've always been a fan of matching. I think it's because my mom matched my socks to my scrunchies when I was little. It set me up for a lifetime of making sure my bags go with my shoes...and my kimonos go with everything else.

  1. I don't think I've ever seen a kimono in this color! It's sooooo gorgeous. It's so pretty. Modcloth really knows their stuff. I'll definitely check it out. Gorgeous + creative styling!

    1. Yes, I love the print on this kimono so much. I felt like it was a little more unique than some of the other ones out there. We basically live in Modcloth!
