Do you ever see a piece of clothing that you instantly fall in love with only to find out it isn't in your size? You pace around the store, try it on twice, and finally decide to go with it or leave without it (and probably regret it forever). This dress was one of those pieces. I mean, leopard print makes a statement enough as it is, but reduced to black and white, and on cobalt blue, I feel like it gives it a totally different fun and retro feel.
Luckily I just couldn't say no to that crazy color and pattern combination. Its so light and flowy that it can be easily belted without creating bulk and you can't really tell it's a size up. Whew. All you need is some gold accents (including gold nails, my favorite!) and a red lip, and you've gone from potato sack chic to a cool retro-inspired ensemble.

I love this dress, it's adorable on you! :) I'm also in love with that necklace. I have been so obsessed with vintage inspired statement jewelry lately!
